chocolate cake

happy birthday tripp!

i like food. i don't think a celebration can be proper without food. in a little bit we'll be heading over to kurts and will be bringing with us a vegan chocolate cake, a vegan and a non-vegan frosting (both of which taste nice but have a slightly grainy texture to them since i grabbed regular sugar instead of powdered and didn't think about it till i tasted and thought 'hm, thats good, but a little grainy'), garlic potato goodness that has been baked until crispy, chicken marinated in lemon, honey, mint, garlic, and olive oil, vegan kielbasa, and asparagus, onion, orange pepper and red pepper which will be tossed on the grill.

tripp is 30, and i think that calls for eating lots of yummy food. and perhaps a happydance or three.
