no business

man oh man have i ever been bad about posting.

thank you, tripp, for not lecturing me.

i've been working a lot. one of our employees had an opportunity to take a new job, and she did. it is perfect for her, and i couldn't be more pleased. it does mean that there is just as much work to get done in my department and one less person to do it. i've worked late every day since she left with the exception of today- we were having computer problems and i was fed up enough with the waste of time that i left.

the above isn't an excuse as to why i haven't been posting more, but after sitting in front of a computer at work all day, it is less fun to do more of the same while at home.

other than many many work related frustrations today, life has been excellent. i love being busy and i am overall very content. i'm reading a good book (team of rivals), i'm getting enough sleep, i'm eating good food- the other day a coworker brought me some caper berries and bagful of oyster mushrooms!- i'm really a happy camper for the time being. best of all, i'm living somewhere where i can feel the season changing. the weather is mild, but its definitely autumn.
