Happy birthday to me!

It has been a good birthday so far- its only 8:30, but I'm smiling so far. I dreamt about family last night (pretty much everyone in the family made an appearance). in the dream it was new years, there were riots, and we were in fast cars and putting out literal fires. very exciting.

I walked into my office today to ribbons and streamers and a sign and a present and cards. I'd expected nothing- everyone was out yesterday except for Robert. after i left he must have done it all and it is very festive.

Before i even got to work my Grandpa called. so nice to hear his voice. he seemed please that he'd been in my dreams last night.

tonight, sushi dinner. definitely with tripp, hopefully with some friends as well.
