i liked dinner tonight.
dessert first: sliced figs in a balsamic, marsala reduction with rose water. mm.
salad: arugula and garbanzo beans with myzithra, dry cured olives, lemon juice, and homemade zataar
side: cous cous with olive oil
main: sliced heirloom tomatoes, roasted with shredded basil, minced garlic, and whole pearl onions in a balsamic reduction, sprinkled with salt and the best olive oil i have ever had.
served with: buffalo mozzarella and a crusty baguette
