i can't remember the last time i was this knocked down, dragged-out sick. i feel absolutely miserable. the doctor says it's a nice combination of a sinus infection and strep throat, and i only have one day of leave left for the whole rest of the school year. i feel quite screwed, and pathetic, and i want my mommy.

i feel a little icky. feverish and clogged up. i think part of it came from keeping my window open and having wet hair when i went to bed last night. if it were the victorian era, someone would surely tell me it was because of the night air - as if, scientifically, the night air is different than the daytime air. (of course poetically speaking the differences would
be infinite, which is kind of a neat thing to think about…) i like thinking about things like that - thoughts and ideas people once considered to be fact that were really based on nothing factual whatsoever. i like the notion that a general societal knowledge evolves over time. i often wonder if one day thousands or more years from now, man will consider christianity with the same semi-interested detachment we have for greek and roman mythology today. you know the bit - hm, how interesting, kinda neat, but can you imagine that people actually believed in that stuff?!
btw - i'm sorry to disappoint dear chrispy and any others with ringside seats who seem to think that my posting on this site will become some sort of prosaic one-on-one with mr. millican. my goals are far greater
and much less petty (ha!). so, nyah, nyah. go get your kicks elsewhere.
