surgery is still up in the air. i was supposed to know today, but its up in the air. i'm feeling better so hopefully another two or three days of feeling good will mean no surgery and i'll be released next week. if this goodness doesn't keep up, it'll be surgery sometime next week.

surgery = goodbye large intestine.

last night i had the worst pain of my life. and i had my first kidney stone. an hour and 14mg of morphine later, i was feeling much better.

following up on it today, it turns out i have another one in my right kidney (last night's was in the left one). so i'm looking forward to a possible repeat performance of last night.

linda is in town and has been visiting me a lot. she brought me a lot of presents which has been awesome. i'm still getting messages, cards, emails, flowers, etc. i got a pillow in the mail today from my aunt laura.

i'm finally eating again in small amounts and i'm allowed to have whatever i want thats not raw food and vegetables. so that's about it.
