the following is a post i wrote last night before internet conked out. i need a new router.
its easy to go on and on about change, about impending change, about things always being set in motion.
ive been quiet the last little bit. mostly it was high anxiety in getting this job lined up. some of it was exhaustion. some of it was living with a girl.
things are about to happen. i know, i wasnt going to type that. but its true.
in a week and two days, ill be driving to the new city where i will reside. and then ill reside there. ill work there.
i wont feel unsettled or without a routine. ill magically get hours back in my day from not having to commute 2 hours a day. things will improve. i think my quality of life will improve.
but thats not all. ive been addicted to rss feeds for more than several months now. last week, two different people got excited when they sent me a link i hadnt seen. reading and sifting through so much data every day is changing the way i think about the internets. and the way i want to write about them.
and i think its this shift that has kept me from posting as much recently. trying to sort out how it all works and what throwing things up on the front page of a website means to me. what im trying to communicate. and what im trying to say given this huge upheaval my life has become.
im still thinking about it. in the meantime:
goose: we will teach you paragraphs one day. in the meantime, yes, i know shit. esp when a good buddy ims me and i figure out his computer problems stem from accidentally turning on the ‘accessibility options’ in windows.
also goose, i stand by the x3 posters. sure, they might be too wussy-fied for you, but the angel one and the jean grey one look pretty good on every single billboard here in la. and, honestly, its the typesetting that does it for me most of all. sigh.

im really trying to think of better, easier ways to post stuff. any ideas? im thinking apis, stand alones, bookmarklets, cookies, flags/filters/metadata…and prob more than one of these. but id love to converse with you if you have any opinions about any of those. (and about the &*^%-ing lack of asp open source blog platforms, esp ones that tie into established apis. man oh man.)
to make up for a lack of posts and a lack of content, here is a morning roundup of links:
negadon english trailer. this looks amazingly awesome.
