the weekend will not come quickly enough.

my legs are in pain due to the bike riding i did this morning; there was an email circulating at work which raised my ire — and since my day has revolved around it in various ways, i haven't managed to calm down.

i love being a passionate person. i feeling strongly. i love the role i take as a squeaky wheel, that person who questions things until convinced. but part of me had tried to forget how difficult it is to be that person, those people, in a professional world, where office politics take precedence over skills and knowledge. thats part of reality i try to forget. i look forward to working with people i can actively learn from in a very real way.

sweet relief — all my camera phone pics are up on flickr finally. this latest batch is somewhere around christmas through a couple of weeks ago.

this one is so awesome, i can barely stand it. how much cooler would jessica simpson be if she actually wore kiss makeup? in fact, this is currently my wallpaper on my phone. its just too perfect. (i took this at plan 9 in richmond, where they regularly 'remix' promo posters and the like.)

not quite as good as the other one, but still way more awesome than not. the lesson is that kiss makeup makes everything cooler.

when i was in nyc to interview with unicef, i saw this — a kid riding on a wheeling piece of luggage. clever, lazy or both?

and finally, adam and i drove past the ecto1 one day when i was working at 7. i dont know if its the real deal or not, but i know sam has seen it recently and the plates on the car said 'ecto1′ and were new york plates. woo ha!
