like petunia, ive been somewhat slack on posting. for this, i sincerely apologize.

unlike petunia, my reasons have nothing to do with boys or moving. mine have to do with personal projects and juggling 100 balls in the air.

the biggest ball right now is trying to move the entire site over to wordpress. still. i underestimated the amount of tweaks i had coded into the asp here. i underestimated the sheer number of information we have on the site, after a gaggle of us have been writing for (in some cases) 6 years.

the good news is that ive done most of the work now and with another couple of weeks, i should be in excellent shape. itll just be a matter of moving the actual posts over. itll still be another 3 or 4 weeks before we make the switch, but there is light at the end of the tunnel.

another excuse about writing is that its pretty tough to write about exciting things. my life has become a routine and the deviances at work are not to be posted online. perhaps one day. but not now.

i can tell you that i get up most mornings and swim. (fine. some mornings — tues, thurs and once on the weekend.) i usually go to starbucks before work to write for an hour or so. im still in the process of getting an agent. the third book is still in pieces, the second one still needs a solid amount of editing. we still havent made any real friends here, outside of work and people we already know (read: kurt. though carter is in the city for the summer, as is aaron. keener, it seems, is in the process of moving to mountain view, so perhaps the circle is growing.)

oh! i promised a list of my feeds a few weeks ago. ill try to start posting them tomorrow. i know youre dying for it.
