it is almost amazing what a night of sleep does to a person. a decent night of sleep.
well, sleep or the large coffee sitting next to me on my desk. maybe it's the coffee. i'm unsure and it isn't worth it to try and determine. the real point is that i feel awake and pumped today; a far far cry from yesterday and good for a number of reasons.
i'm still in the middle of dealing with this tax nonsense, but with any luck, it will be resolved with another phone call or two.
today will be another fascinating day of staring at complex classes and writing api's. it actually isn't a bad thing for the most part. which is good. it's positive to like your job.
my favorite link of the morning?
hearing that david copperfield had an elaborate system set up to meet women. we all heard about the raid a week or so ago. my mother was the one that broke the news to me that it was supposedly tied this the rape accusation. but the news that all of this might be tied into his show and keywords is simply too awesome for words. but i will try. actually, i will someone else's to explain. im speechless:
Sources now tell TMZ Copperfield designed part of his show around "a system for picking up women." During his show, David goes into the audience and chooses women to come on stage. We're told that if David likes a girl, he'll use code words with assistants like "mama" and "secrecy." The assistants mark the women on a map of the inside of the Hollywood Theater at MGM Grand. After the show, the women are brought backstage — and that's where the profiling begins.
The women are told that David may use them in his show when he comes to their hometown. They are then photographed with a digital camera, asked questions like, "What is your favorite men's cologne?" and "Where do you like to vacation?" We're told one of those vacation spots mentioned by staff is the Bahamas, where the accuser claims she was assaulted. Copperfield owns a cluster of islands in the Bahamas — which he bought for $50 million.
