Interestingly (or not), Satellite Records isn’t listed — when Chris and I were in there last year, it was a complete ghost town. I’ll never forget the period of my life where buying records was my girlfriend, hopping from store to store in the Village with Andru and Chrispy. Sadly, the world has moved on.

• Slave Leias at the NYC ComicCon this past weekend. This is like some kind of optical illusion — my brain is delivering conflicting information about how to feel about this.

  Pastor Roger Byrd of Jonesville Church of God put the sign up which reads “Obama Osama humm are they brothers?”

  Pastor Byrd says the sign is not meant to be racial or political but rather to make people think. “His name is so close to Osama I have a feeling he might be Islamic therefore he doesn’t recognize Christ,” Pastor Byrd said.
