u2 / numb vs joshua tree

For some inexplicable reason, I can deal with The Joshua Tree being 21 years ago much easier than I can with Numb being 15.

Actually, I imagine it's because I played catch-up with Joshua Tree, while I know exactly what my life was like the month Zooropa came out. (It was the an amazing summer. Also, Numb completely changed the rules for what I expected from U2. Of course, this would be their pinnacle in terms of 'surprising' — Popmart couldn't save it and they haven't innovated since.)
