I have been swamped at work, preventing me form really digging my heels in here this week. And right now, I have a bunch of tabs open, so I thought I would share with you.

  • 75 skills every man should know. This was everywhere yesterday and for good reason — it's an excellent list. One day, I will write the book about these. For now, enjoy this list of how inadequate you might be.
  • An opinion piece at the NYT about Wright, Obama, McCain and the election.

. . . virtually no one has rebroadcast the highly relevant prototype for Mr. Wright’s fiery claim that 9/11 was America’s chickens “coming home to roost.” That would be the Sept. 13, 2001, televised exchange between Pat Robertson and Jerry Falwell, who blamed the attacks on America’s abortionists, feminists, gays and A.C.L.U. lawyers. (Mr. Wright blamed the attacks on America’s foreign policy.)

  • The owner of Polyface Farms in Virginia has written a book called Everything I Want to Do Is Illegal. This looks like it came out last year, but the short list, longer essay and book information seem interesting. If you're into the notion that the government shouldn't restrict food prep and selling in a manner that cuts the little guys out.
  • Finally, this too is everywhere but worth a quick mention: John Resig has ported Processing from Java to JavaScript. If you read that and don't understand why it's a big deal, that's cool. Keep moving. Otherwise, be amazed and check it out.
