noah and the whale - 5 years time

So Kurt and Keren came over for dinner on Friday night.* I was listening to Radio1 / Zane Lowe and when they came in I was listening to Noah and the Whale. And it was a nice little song. Kurt asked what it was, apparently because he hated it. But later, I went back and listened to it again.

And now I can claim it as this summer's anthem for me. I have listened to it 4 times so far on the train this morning. It's catchy, summer-y, cute, fun…everything I want from this summer.

* Dinner was a trip to Whole Foods for veggies and pasta and wine, all cooked up. And eaten at our table — like grown-ups. We listened to Miles Davis, used cloth napkins, lit candles and even said a blessing. Sometimes it is fun to be a grown-up.
