Jeez. I really need a better plan with sharing this stuff.
- I know it’s old, but seriously: the MegaMan effect (Mac only) is worth downloading and running once. Or twice. Every 3 years. So awesome.
- A great Wired article on location-aware services and privacy issues. This came up some when I was working on my thesis and, as more and more devices become location-aware, the problem is going to grow.
- Google and the future of books. Something that continues to gnaw in my head — I’m trying to figure out how I want to publish my next book. Also ties in some with Ray and I debating email/letters.
- 3D is back (in case you haven’t noticed). As in, something like 30 movies are coming out in 3D soon.
- Great faux book covers for movie novelizations. Retro but spot on.
- Let Pac-Man describe your pain. Awesome not because it’s useful (it isn’t actually easy to read except as a 3 point scale) but because it’s nerdy and I have spent far too much time in the past with these pain charts in the hospital. This one def would have cheered me up at the time.
- Xbox vibrator game. I’m shocked it took this long.
- Perhaps the best (creepiest) high heels ever.
- Nick: rolcats. Though not as funny as real Russian jokes.
- My feelings on pooping, exactly.
- Another Japanese masturbation toy. Hank, your ‘bring back to the States’ list is growing. First the can, now this.
Holy crap! We saw that can thing on sale at a restaurant in Thailand, but all the directions were in Thai and none of us could figure out what it was for…
